Lotus Notes Developer

This is an opportunity to work along side a group of very talented IT specialists. We are looking for someone who meets the qualifications and can come in and hit the ground running.

• Major objective for this position:

This position requires designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise software applications in a Domino/Lotus Notes and SQL based environment. The ideal candidate will also perform technical requirements reviews and create design documents for enterprise business application development projects.

• Sub objective:

Duties will include:
• We are looking for someone who is predominantly a developer, and is willing to spend 75-80% of his/her day coding
• Acting as a coach and technical resource for other developers
• Independently forming action plans to resolve complex business requirements
• Providing on-call support and problem resolution for production systems
• Applying established design and development standards and procedures
• Providing troubleshooting and diagnostic support for assigned applications in support of users and identified issues
• Providing remediation of identified issues for assigned applications

• Technical:

We are a parallel Notes and .Net environment.

• Team and people:

The pace is exceptionally fast at SNC, and our dynamic environment will see many new projects in the coming year. The Lotus Notes Developer will need to be agile and flexible, as changes will be certain and frequent.


SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Lotus Notes/Domino (R 8.5)
• Web enabling Notes applications & XPages
• SQL Development (insert/update, stored procedures, triggers) and Application Integration
• Web application development
• HTML, DHTML, CSS
• Strong sense of customer/solution ownership
• Drive for excellence and a proven ability to successfully complete assigned duties on-time
• BS/BA minimum in related discipline

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with the Confidentiality, Terminology, and Processes in Implementing and Managing Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
• JavaScript, .NET (C# and VB), XML,
• MS Project/PWA, WPF, WCF, MS SharePoint, LINQ, Silverlight

** Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security clearance. It is desirable to have an existing clearance.
