In the exciting role of Shared Services SharePoint Specialist, this person provides focused customer service through administrative, marketing and sales support utilizing specialized skill sets to the Energy Services, Facility Service or Construction teams.

Project management responsibilities of this position include managing active work, backlog of work, and own project deliverables and deadlines, managing deliverable deadlines through coordinating information from various sources and modifying/creating narratives, employee profiles or project lists/write-ups. In the position the Shared Services SharePoint Specialist, this individual will plan for future resource needs and prioritize future workload, complete project activities in collaboration with others in a timely manner and lead Project Plan and Project Post Mortem meetings to identify areas of improvement. This role will deliver accurate, high quality and timely results and lead team meetings and ensure tracking and follow-up of resulting action items. It will be important to communicate with and coordinate McKinstry internal resources to meet project deliverables, communicate with McKinstry Clients proactively to achieve shared business objectives and manage flow of information to SharePoint, the network, stakeholders.

The Shared Services SharePoint Specialist will act as a liaison between SharePoint users and other energy and facility departments, coordinate contributions of site and content owners as well as Resource, document and information management. This individual will develop SharePoint Process Improvements, Work with Energy and Facility Solutions Knowledge Center advisers and develop SharePoint Training Curriculum and conduct regular trainings. In this role, the Shared Services SharePoint Specialist will perform content and site audits to create consistency, Information kiosk and organization to allow users ease of navigation, create infrastructure to move internal and external communication forward.

Job specific knowledge for this position requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook and Visio; working knowledge of Sharepoint preferred; thorough working knowledge of business needs, and the Knowledge Management Process. We are looking for candidates with advanced proficiency in the use of SharePoint and internet/web and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.

Education and experience requirements include an equivalent of 5 years experience in administrative function or business environment, and prior project management experience preferred. A High School diploma required and a BA/BS degree preferred. Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 certificate is required, as well as, two (2) years of SharePoint site management and content development experience required. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in direct facilitation and process development required.

The Shared Services SharePoint Specialist will be expected to carry out other duties as assigned and travel may be requested on occasion.
